Hello! My name is Chloe and I am from South Dakota. I earned my Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from South Dakota State University, where my undergraduate research focused on characterizing a novel nitrogen-fixing phenotype in a common soil bacterium. My graduate research in Dr. Banerjee’s lab focuses on elucidating patterns of microbe-microbe interactions and life strategies within the soil environment to better model the microbiome in response to environmental change.
